  • During your first visit, Dr Charlene will take the time to get to know you and your unique health journey.

Our goal is to support your healing in a way that feels nurturing and empowering.

  • This will vary depending on your condition and rate of response to treatments.

Some people notice significant improvement after just a few sessions, while more chronic conditions may benefit from ongoing care.

Generally we suggest two times per week for the first few weeks to stabilise the condition, then once per week for the duration of your care plan.

  • No, most people find acupuncture to be a gentle and relaxing experience.

The needles used are extremely fine—much thinner than those used for injections—and typically cause little to no discomfort.

Some people may feel a slight tingling or warmth at the insertion points, which is a natural response, signalling that the body’s energy is being gently stimulated.

  • Absolutely! TCM can complement conventional medicine and other forms of healthcare.

Many of our patients use TCM alongside their regular medical treatments to enhance their overall health and well-being.

We encourage open communication with your healthcare providers to ensure a coordinated approach to your care.
